A while ago I started reading on Strobist and began collecting the necessary gear to start out. I’ve now purchased a second flash, two light stands with umbrellas and radio remote triggers for the two flashes.
I wanted to try the new gear out, so I went over to my father’s place and shot some portraits of my brother Andreas. I tried some of the easier stuff I’ve read about and I think that the portraits turned out okay for a first try.

I’ve uploaded images from the Kaizers Orchestra concert at Peace and Love earlier this summer.
The concert was one of the best I’ve been to and it was fun to shoot as well. The rest of the images are availible in the gallery.

Unfortunately, I was positioned a bit back in the crowd, so a lot of pictures were ruined because of people in front of me getting in the way of things.
Even though some people are visible in the shots I’ve posted, I think I got some decent shots out of a bad situation. I’m hoping to get to shoot from the pit some time at a larger concert to get some real experience from shooting concerts.

I’ve also uploaded some images from my midsummer celebration that have been posted at Facebook earlier. I haven’t decided yet if I’m going to continue posting images there or if I’m only going to post them at the site from now on. I guess we’ll see.
I’ve now added a gallery to the site. I’ll upload some old albums to the gallery until I’ve got something new to add.
I’m working on adding a gallery to the site. For the time being, I’m putting up links to the old photo albums that I’ve uploaded as a temporary solution.
I’m going to try hacking together some kind of site from a Wordpress blog. So far I’ve only published the blog without any modifications, but I will add additional features when I have time for it.
